Policies
In order to provide peace
of mind for you, we have developed the following pet sitting policies.
All client
information is confidential, and will not be shared with outside parties. Client
information and security codes are protected.
All
keys in the possession of Pets Stay Home are stored without identification.
We carry lost key insurance coverage, and in order for this to be valid all keys
are coded to ensure anonymity.
Where appropriate, all pets should have a
veterinarian and have current rabies and other vaccinations. The client is requested
to fill in a pet/veterinarian form for authorization of medical care in
the event of an emergency.
Pets Stay Home cannot sit acutely ill animals
or those with uncontrolled medical conditions. In those circumstances, for
the safety of the pet, we
suggest the pet be boarded.
Pets Stay Home requires a one-time interview prior to providing
services. The initial one-time
interview takes about 30 minutes when the Online Scheduler information has been
filled in. Subsequent services do not require an interview, however all services are
contractually arranged. However,
there may be a situation where a first-time interview is not possible.
In that case, all information must be entered in the Online Scheduler,
arrangements for obtaining the key must be made, and payment is required.
Cats
need to be checked daily to ensure that they are safe and healthy,
therefore we will not accept requests for every-2nd-day kitty visits.
Visitors will not be allowed into the home unless
specific directions and permission have been given by the client.
The client is requested to provide a local
emergency contact (neighbour, friend or relative), if possible.
